Knit Knot is a fictional company that offers organic, fair trade knitted goods, emphasizing sustainable practices and ethical production.
To create a brand identity that truly encapsulates Knit Knot’s values, I focused on integrating the tactile nature of the materials used in their products into the design. The yarn, as a key element of Knit Knot’s creations, was woven into the packaging and shopping bag, making it a physical connection to the products themselves. A stitch pattern was incorporated into the stationery items, referencing the action of stitching and reinforcing the company’s focus on craftsmanship. The folder was uniquely designed to hold a #10 envelope, with a vertical pocket and a business card placeholder, creating a compact yet functional solution. The design choices reflect a home-grown, organic aesthetic that celebrates the authenticity and human touch behind each product.
